Costa Rica, as its name dictates, is home to some of the most breathtaking visual experiences on the face of planet Earth. Being only a 3-hour drive from the Atlantic to the Caribbean at its narrowest point, any inhabitant of this beautiful coastal country has the luxury of owning the sunrise and sunset every day of their lives.  Costa Rica has been rated as the happiest country in the world, and rightfully so. With almost 25% of the country being maintained as ecological preserves, it becomes a frequent occurrence to interact with the large variety of wildlife that this country houses.

Whether it is that special element in the air, or the array of smiles layered over the tropical paradise scenery, Costa Rica has a unique quality of life that turns every morning into a perfect day. That is why here we say, “Pura Vida!” It’s life at a pace that makes you enjoy every moment and every beauty that surrounds you, a "Pure Life!"

*A small portion of the program fee is devoted to designing, developing and installing sustainable technologies in impoverished neighborhoods. Interaction with the community creates positive change and leaves a lasting impact on both parties. Students apply their newfound knowledge to a community project.
