High School Teachers.Renewable Energy is an overlooked subject across the entire national education system. The base level conversations of where our energy comes from, where our water comes from, and how our actions impact our Earth is a topic that young scholars connect to unlike any past generation. We, like other high school travel programs, incorporate amazing historical and cultural experiences, as well as excellent opportunities to practice Spanish with other High School students from Costa Rica. The GREEN program takes it one step farther by integrating hands-on renewable energy education and sustainable community service projects to inspire change, tolerance, and the ability to make a global impact. Your high school students will learn so much more about how the world works during their 2 weeks in Costa Rica then they did their entire Senior Year.
