Pennsylvania State University. This past summer, GREEN welcomed over 20 students from the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (CEMS) at Pennsylvania State University. Many of these students were offered full funding to attend this program drawn from an endowment at their home University. Two courses were created at the CEMS School to give their GREEN Alumni the opportunity to showcase their educational expansion and be recognized for their global reach. One course is to be a major specific elective, and the other is a general education course that asked the students to develop media-based projects. These videos, taken from flipcam footage shot by the students, were posted online and can be found here: Penn State is a leader in GREEN relations and sets the example of how best to create opportunities for students at your University.
