Payment Policy
Payment Terms:
By submitting payment for the Global Renewable Energy Education Network (GREEN LLC), you (the Purchaser) pay for the educational services and opportunities, cultural experiences, adventure excursions, and transportation within the country for the 12-day period. In addition, the payment covers 5 nights at Hotel Tilawa in Tilaran, Guanacaste with full amenities, 4 nights at Puerto San Luis, 1 night at the Hot Springs Resort of Miravalles, and 1 night at a tropical Hotel in Tamarindo on the Pacific Coast, 30 meals, and emergency medical insurance.
The student is responsible for discretionary travel insurance, airfare, and optional international mobile services. While these items are recommended, they cannot be purchased through GREEN LLC. They can be purchased through third-party providers.
Payment Options:
The Payment for the Global Renewable Energy Education Network (GREEN LLC) Program must be made in full in the form of a check payable to the "Global Renewable Energy Education Network LLC" or "GREEN LLC". The check must be received by GREEN LLC in order to guarantee a spot on the program. A 3-Part Payment Plan is available for students who wish to complete their payment in parts. Cash will not be accepted as a viable form of payment for the Program.
Refund Policy:
A refund cannot be granted under any circumstantial situations of the Purchaser. Having been accepted to the program and having completed payment, your spot is reserved and a refund cannot be granted for incidental changes in the student’s winter/summer plans or schedule.
In the unlikely event that a trip is canceled, full payment will be refunded to the Purchaser.
The Refund policy is as follows:
1. A refund cannot be issued following commencement of trip and entering Costa Rica on date of program commencement.
2. If the Purchaser requests to be removed from the trip, three weeks or more in advance, for personal reasons, half (50%) of the payment will be refunded.
3. If the Purchaser requests to be removed from the trip less than three weeks prior to the commencement of the program, a refund cannot be issued.
4. In the unlikely event that all Summer Sessions do not fill up to the minimum capacity some of the trips will be consolidated in order to provide a more fulfilling experience for all the students. In this case you will be asked to pick one of the consolidated dates for your trip.
5. Due to the aforementioned consideration, it is important to check with GREEN prior to booking your flight to Costa Rica. Please email register@greenworknow.com before you book your flight to ensure that the program you selected has not been consolidated.
