I am so grateful for the GREEN Program. I feel as if I have a home in Costa Rica and cannot wait to return someday soon. Costa Rica is a special place. There is so much to learn from the locals who honor the land instead of destroying it. The places I saw and the people I interacted with made my trip unforgettable. Learning about all the renewable technologies, seeing how it worked up close, and listening to an expert in the field talk about the job he loves was inspiring. This trip will make you analyze your life and change you for the better if you let it, and I suggest you do. Pura Vida.

Summer 2011

It came down to the wire and I was skeptical of going, but thank goodness I took that leap of faith. GREEN taught me so much these past 12 days, not only on an educational level but about who I am. The real me finally came out. I cannot wait to tell everyone back at school what I've learned and accomplished here. Trust the process and do you best to just get up and do EVERYTHING! Plus I expanded on my weet Spanish skills! :) Pura Vida!
