Summer 2011

I am thankful for safe travels, amazing adventures, pivotal people, exceptional education, unforgettable friendships, and epic experiences of unfathomable proportions.  I feel blessed beyond measure and have a newly found home in Tilaran, Guanacaste in Costa Rica.

The counselors were amazing at tailoring the adventures to the group of individuals, as each group is different.  I felt as if I had a voice and corrective actions were readily implemented.

This trip has inspired me to embrace all I’ve learned here and incorporate it in my daily life.  I’ve cultivated a yearning for traveling now, even though this was my first international excursion and foreign culture submersion.

I’ll always remember the plant visits and the great time spent with all the group members and counselors. I’m going to miss every single person here and remember my time here every summer.
