Being a business major, I really didn’t have a great deal of interest in renewable energy sources and knew little about them before the trip.  I was expecting to only be interested in the vacation aspect and not the educational side, but I actually really enjoyed the plant visits and seeing the green homes.  It has definitely changed my mind about how I can positively impact the environment and live my life more GREEN.

GREEN has done a fantastic job with emphasizing the importance of an international study abroad program.  They integrated lessons on renewable energy with experiences in local culture.
